Natural Resource Management

Natural resource management covers a wide range of issues that are not related to development approvals, but instead provide information, review, development, a voluntary management plan, public education or resource condition monitoring.

There are many circumstances where our clients want to collect data, review, interpret or promote information or develop a management plan. The outcome could be used for decision making and developing new approaches and new projects or guiding investment.
Our clients for natural resource management projects are usually Local Government, CMA's, Government Departments and developers or landholders.

Even in non-regulatory projects such as a management plan or interpretation material we need to identify environmental assets and determine the threats and impacts and how to manage the impacts. However any assessments or monitoring should be done to recognised standards to be valid. These projects usually involve field work, consultation, desktop research and a report.
